Chinese cuisine is home cooking to at least a quarter of the world's population, central to the majority of people's way of life. In such a vast country, there is a wealth of different style of cooking, and many cooks and restaurants in the West are now distinguishing between Cantonese, Sichuan and Peking-style cooking, introducing us all to some of the world's finest food.
